So, I got the office painted. I picked teal. I have no idea why, I just knew I wanted teal. I searched and searched for the right color, and had it down to two. I am very happy with the result! I HATE painting trim, so that was the worst part. So tedious and not fun. And the outcome of white trim is not as exciting as teal walls! But it is done.
Next I put up my shelves. I made these shelves several years ago for my brother, but he moved to Arizona and never took them, so they have moved around with me. I think they are on their last leg and wont survive another move. I am glad to have a final home for them.
I hung my diplomas, an old seed sign I snagged at a previous agriculture job, and a clock I got on clearance at Target. My mother got me the framed dog because it reminded her of the logo of my side business, Brown Dog Editing. Lastly, I hung my master’s regalia on some hooks for display.
The desk I already had, and the other desk was a special gift. My aunt gave me this desk. It was my great grandfathers, and I think it was handmade by him. It really isn’t a desk but a vanity, but I just left the mirror in storage and use it as a desk for the boyfriend, Taylor
The last thing I need to get is a comfy chair for reading! Can’t wait to scour Craigslist!
