So, I have this collection of buttons I keep in an American Eagle tin. I never really look at them, and I wanted a way to display them. I thought about hooking them all to my laptop bag, but I think I am kinda old for that. Plus they are my treasures and I don’t want to lose them! So, I came up with a cooler idea: Why not pin them to a bulletin board. Now, I want to uphold some sort of adult like style in this house, so I decided an ordinary board would not cut it. Somehow I came up with the idea to frame a cheap board with a decorative frame.
First I went to Hobby Lobby and found a frame for 50% off in their frame department for about $15. I then took the same paint I painted the trim with an applied a coat to match. I found a used bulletin board at Goodwill for a couple of dollars. I trimmed the board with my handy T-square from college drafting, and fitted it in.
Next I pinned all my buttons to it and hung it in the office on the last blank wall! I am very excited at the cheap and cute outcome. Especially since boards like this sell for a lot more than $17!
